Jordan Vauvert Je m'étais amusé à faire un parallèle entre Orfeu, composé en l'espace de six jours, et le mythe de la création du monde ; je ne croyais pas si bien dire : The Chaos Path, E.P. qui se place en perspective de cet album, sort... sept jours plus tard. Son black metal avant-gardiste est toujours furieux mais cette fois, Salqiu ne fait plus qu'un avec les ombres. C'est un créateur qui, au lieu de se placer au-dessus de sa création, se fait avaler par elle.

Turd Ferguson If a nude god mocked me, I would knock his ass out and then wrangle some pants onto that silly bastard. And I would play this EP while I did it. This is god-slaying music. Favorite track: This Nude God That Mocks Me.

Metallurgical Fire Meant to pick this up a while ago because this project is so unique, and because this EP is unbridled savagery. However, I had to rely upon YomaBarr yanking it out of my still unmanageable wishlist and reminding me. Yoma contributed to this album lyrically on my favorite song. The vocals here are some of the best and most disturbing in extreme metal, and the music is highly unsettling in the best way. It's wonderful stuff! All of Salqiu's work should be on your radar. Favorite track: Insanity in Every Drop of Water.

YomaBarr Uncanny. Pure raw emotion straight from the core of the reptilian brain. Wrath, recklessness, desperation? Possessed by the fury that burns from inside, still bearing Salqiu's unique signature though.

I knew who to give my stuff to. Also knew what to choose for the 1000th item in my BC collection. Just sayin' ;)

TAKE NOTICE: This is the counterpart to my (just released) latest full length! It's not your "usual" SALQIU, but a different face of it!

This EP was recorded in a mere 2 days span, with the exception of "I Am the Angel of Despair", which was recorded back in new years eve 2018/19.
There are no mix tricks here. The EP portrays the exact vibe in which it was recorded. It captures the rage, the hate, the primal feelings that conducted the recordings. It's crude, I know...that's exactly how it is suppose to be. It's a path of chaos.

This is my attempt to release all the extreme pressure and tiredness I have been suffering. It shows my most vicious side, in relentless way...pounding, escaping...free at last!

Now you will hear the purest form of Black/Blackened Death Metal that I can make....my furthest step aside from pure experimentation which, in the end, is also something new for me.
