David Fischer Two titans of their respective crafts team up, delivering one of the best splits I have heard in the past 15 years. Both parts are equally impressive, still I slightly prefer the cluster side. Sjálfsmorð af Gáleysi's piece is more obivously dissonant and contorting, yet Salqiu's sounds more menacing, trippy and straightup unholy. And yes, there're both a didgeridoo and glockenspiel residing in the morphing, intangible darkness - a testament to the artists' creative insanity. 2/4 incredible cuts. Favorite track: Angústia.

courtr2001 Menacing violin, cello, digeridoo? on Salqiu's side ebb &flow between multi-paced black metal riffs and ethereal synth. SaG is indeed Eerie here, atmospheric and somewhat dissonant. Vocally akin to Attila Csihar's grumbles. Notes of Blut Aus Nord, Thantifaxath, Leviathan, Oranssi Pazuzu. Keep an ear out for the surprise glockenspiel.

This split encompasses the fruitful minds of the two artists, and the idea to split the split simply does justice to the always adventurous and exploratory minds behind these two projects, and especially the dark sense of humour of one of the artists (the other one is Icelandic, so he does not have a sense of humour).
