This will not be treasured. It will not be liked. It is agonizing pain and sorrow that was begot within rage.

SALQIU dares to go places unknown and uncomfortable. It's always been this way, and so be it again.
But this time the visited places are darker than ever...maybe because I have grown that way and have been lead to this place. Listen to the sound of my soul!

This is SALQIU's interpretation of the poem "A Scena do Ódio" by José d'Almada-Negreiros, 1915.

So "Ignóbil" is poem reading, addressed in spoken word in Portuguese, with Black Metal soundtrack.

This is the imagery of a nightmare, as I imagined it in the mind of the poet, when he dedicated it one of the heteronyms of Fernando Pessoa (Álvaro de Campos, in this case).

Ignóbil translates to ignoble, in English.

SALQIU stands unmatched and uncompromising. That's the nature of it. You can like it or dislike it, but do not, ever, dismiss the creativity of it just because you prefer other approaches. Apart from that, I growingly don't give a f*ck!

This album was recorded between the 26th of March and the 3rd of April (one week) and all vocals were done at first take and with no previous rehearsal
